A beer to celebrate the Hop Harvest

In 2009, Green Dragon became the permanent name of the Green Hop beer brewed each year to celebrate the hop harvest - brewed with fresh, just picked hops to allow the distinctive floral characters to dominate the beer.

As a 4.6% golden ale, there is a gntle malty base of pale and wheat malts, with the just picked hops adding all of the remaining flavours.

An exceptionally fresh tasting beer with a gentle refreshing bitterness.

The 2009 vintage was brewed with just picked Goldings hops from Pridwood Farm in Herefordshire.

This beer was first brewed on the 1st September 2004 as a tawny coloured bitter with malty undertones that highlight the bitterness and floral aroma of the Green Hops - fresh Fuggles hops picked that morning at Bickley House Farm, near Tenbury Wells.
